I'm not sure what you mean by "still enabled saying yes" when you have it disabled.

While you have automatic maintenance set to be disabled, are you able to manually start it?

When you turn off messaging for "Automatic Maintenance", you won't see the "Start maintenance" and "Change maintenance settings" options like in the screenshot in the tutorial on the first page. You'll have to turn it back on if you want to have those options again.

    No problem. :)

In that case, temporarily enable Automatic Maintenance, open its settings, uncheck Allow scheduled maintenance to wake up my computer at the scheduled time, then disable Automatic Maintenance again.

    Hello Brink
Is there any downside of doing this ? Since it even blocked manual clicking maintenance.
Or I should just enabled it once a month ?

    Hello Arief, :)

Unless Automatic Maintenance is causing some sort of issue, it would be best to leave it enabled and change its settings below to what you want. It does a pretty good job.

    This doesn't seem to work.
I also restarted the pc, but after a couple of minutes of inactivity I see from Taskmanager the pc is doing something (and if I move the mouse, the pc goes back to idle).
On the Control Panel the Maintenance seems not running, but I suppose the registry change does just freeze this interface.
