You can rename the entry as far as what you see displayed with just about anything!

Add Take Ownership to Context Menu in Windows 10-take-ownership-own-renaming.jpg

You first have to edit the script and make a slight change to the "Take ownership" entry itself to the translation you want and then save the change made. You simply right click on the download itself being a reg file with that extension seen and choose the edit option which will see a new NotePad window appear. Once that is open you go to where you see the command statement and substitute the spelling seen with what you want it showing. It doesn't even have to be the Take ownership as you can see from the screen here.

Once the change has been made you select the save as option and still keeping the 3 digit "reg" file extension allow it to overwrite the original. For trying this out you may want to try this after first seeing a backup copy of the original download stored somewhere safe and try this out in a temp folder even. The reg file itself can also be changed to "OWN THIS" or the Polish translation at any time. You still may want to look over the first few replies however on the first page where someone had a problem with the French translation as far as one letter being changed.

That should work nicely! :) Where you see the Take Ownership highlighted as well as where you see that below what is in view I simply changed the wording to OWN THIS and then saved to overwrite the original simply to change what you see displayed when going to right click on something.

The wording has absolutely no effect on how the tweak functions so you won't have to worry as long as the rest remains unchanged.

    Hello Brink,

Either my eyes have gotten worse, or the Take Ownership reg chage for Win10 isn't there anymore. All I see is a blank first post in this thread. All of the orthers are there.

    Thanks.

    Hello Jim, :)

You had your account settings here set to show the newest post first in a thread instead of the oldest. I set this back to default for you to fix this. How does it look now to you?

I can see it now. Sigh, I really prefer newest first... but if I gotta use this I gotta.

Oh, my ASUS laptop, Win 8.1, did a bios upgrade about a week ago... thats why I'm on Win 10 now. You've probably seen my mention on the eigfhtforums about this. It didn't brick my laptop, but it is in an infinite loop 'Automatic Repair' cannot fix this. Please reboot. etcetera. And getting used to a new keyboard is painful to. But I'll manage.
