Well Brink I used the reg without a pause. Don't need any pause. I have that same option in my Windows 7 Pro for a long time now. This one for Windows 10 is exactly what I needed. Another great reg file that you guys have put out!!
    Thanks :)

This is what I get when trying to merge this .reg entry

When trying to merge this entry:
    Add_Take_Ownership_to_context_menu.reg
I receive this: Add Take Ownership to Context Menu in Windows 10-capture.jpg

    I am using Windows 10525

    Any Ideas?

    Hello Kevin, :)

It sounds like you may have an issue with merging all .reg files. Do you have an issue merging any other .reg file to verify?

If so, then use OPTION SEVEN in the tutorial below to set .reg files to open with Registry Editor (C:\Windows\regedit.exe), and see if you are able to merge afterwards.

    Brink,
I have never had a problem merging .reg files before...and this one only recently...after the update to 10525. All my other .reg files merge seamlessly. Odd.

Try downloading it again in case it may have been interrupted and corrupted. It works just fine for me though.

Are you able to edit the .reg file?

    Re-download, same problem.

Yes, I can open the .reg file in notepad and edit/re-save.

Odd. This is not an app, so I don't know why you would get that error message. Especially when you have no problems merging other .reg files.

Does it work for you if you download it from here below instead?

Make sure the .reg file is unblocked to see if that may be the issue.
