Hello bl00keRs,
Here you go: :)
Swedish_Add_Take_Ownership_with_Pause_to_context_menu.reg
Thank you!! This elusive, but simple solution solved my file access problem perfectly!. I was then able to restore my administrator account to active status.
@Night Hawk,
Any differences between "Take Ownership" in a normal admin and the "OWN THIS" in the hidden System Admin accounts?
That was simply a change in the text line seen there which had been mentioned on a previous occasion. I simply made the change in order to spruce things up a bit!
Now as far as any differences between seeing the option added in on the Hidden side of things and how well it will work should generally be the same on most things at least. You can't elevate permissions any higher in Windows! I would need to put that to the test however once I can get back into the 10 side of the dual since the 10 Home VM on the 7 side had to be upgraded as well as putting a few things to the test like renaming the Windows.old just before the upgrade took place for the newer build and now simply manually taking ownership as well as using the right click option after first renaming the new Windows.old to Windows.Personal and then the old folder back to Windows.old otherwise opening up to the Action Center and having the Control Panel icon on that.
That's another interesting project trying to work with each sub folder and even the need to change attributes in order to uncheck the Read only boxes so those can be removed ahead of the main folders. The WinSxS folder seems to be the main holdup however with all the rest having been recycled. For general use however the option once added into the context menu can be a real time saver over the need to bring up the properties screen and then open the Advanced button to get to... and so on!
