gbates,
If you like, you could also manually take ownership of the folder and Replace owner of subcontainers and objects using OPTION FOUR below.

Carlos,
The "y" option in the command is for "Yes", so using "s" translated for the Spanish "sí" should do the trick. I'm not sure that "administrators" in the command needs to be translated as well though since the OS started as English.
Here are two versions of the .reg file below to test. One with only "y" changed to "s", and the other with both "y" and "administrators" translated. :)
Spanish-1_Add_Take_Ownership_with_Pause_to_context_menu.reg
Spanish-2_Add_Take_Ownership_with_Pause_to_context_menu.reg
Hello Brink, both .reg files change the ownership of a folder/file to my user, but when i used the .reg file that has "administrators" translated, it showed me this error:
So i think translating "administrators" is only necessary if the OS was first installed in Spanish.Code:administradores: No mapping is made between account names and security IDs. Properly processed 0 files; error while processing 1 files Press any key to continue . . .
Thanks for all your help Brink :).
Brink,
most of 8forums tutorials seem work fine in Win 10, used take ownership, copy to folder, move to folder successfully. thanks for the info that hidden admin still works , and your many tutorials since.

WOW This worked GREAT Thanks so much guys! I managed to delete the 26 GB of my old Windows 7 installation from when I cloned my hard drive from my laptop to my gaming rig on windows 10. I could never get the damn ownership of the old windows folder, and this reg key worked fantastic. Again, thanks so much saved me 26 GB of space!
Yeah it is a bit confusing because when you need help the commands given may frustrate even more if it's not the UI language, sending you in the wrong direction thinking you have it all wrong.
Somebody should post in insider forum to suggest command in the most universal language (English) . I'm out. Too much work.
My win 10 Enterprise is purring like a kitten 2 errors in event viewer on boot. But they are old Windows foundation driver and TDI filter.
