Hi Brink,
Could you please make me a Hungarian version of Take Ownership to Context Menu reg file? This is one of my last hopes to access some of my files after full Windows10 reinstall.
Thanks,
Imre

Hello Imre, and welcome to Ten Forums.
Here's a Hungarian version for you below.

Unfortunately, it has not helped. Although the Command Prompt says the access rights were given to me, I am yet unable to open the files.
Previously I also tried to gain access to these files by setting up the 'Everyone' rights.
The story is: These files are originated from another HDD, that had Win7, then later on Win10 on one of it's partitions. Then I copied these files to a new HDD. Now I reinstalled my Window10 on the other partition of the new HDD and lost access to these files. Not all of the files from the old HDD, just one Folder with all of it's subfolders. These folders had the yellow lock on them for a while but did not know it could have any relevance as I am the only user.
A yellow lock on an icon usually indicates that it was encrypted by EFS. Do you remember encrypting it using a method like below?

If you did and don't have a backup of its EFS certificate and key, you won't be able to access them again.
I don't remember Encrypting those folders. When I did the Windows reinstall I saved my personal folder, but have not saved my "AppData" folder. I went through a Windows7 to Windows10 switch, a Folder switch to a new HDD but with the clean install I think I lost the certificate.
Is there a way I can look for the certificate? Are there any unique and common characters in the file name?
It depends on how and where you backed up the certificate, but it would be a .pfx file if available.

When I add this I have two 'take ownership' items in context menu. This one is the one with admin enforcement. How to delete the other entry?
It only removes the other - that was added by your reg file.
I'm not sure where it came.. I thought perhaps it was there but maybe no.
Perhaps it was added by a -reg file doing similar that I downloaded from here back in the day...? Haven't DL'd such elsewhere. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't 7/8 era... I always DL new after fresh install.
