Do you mean for Device Encryption instead?
BitLocker is turned of by default, but Device Encryption is turned on by default for devices that support Modern Standby.
How to Turn On or Off Device Encryption in Windows 10
Yes... device encryption... even though Bitlocker is off by default, windows still seems to encrypt some of the files before windows install is finished (takes a couple minutes to decrypt after disabling device encryption on my laptop with a brand new installation). So I was kinda hoping to be able to disable it through the answer file (I use the answer file to add the computer name, all device drivers, accept EULA and other things. I'm not concerned about security and usually just disable bitlocker for that extra couple milliseconds I can gain by not running an encryption algorithm in the background. Hard to find support for answer files on the net

preventdeviceencryption can be set to true or false (I guess true is default)... I'll have to try it on my next install.

Windows ADK includes "Windows System Image Manager"... a great way to set up windows during initial installation. Hopefully microsoft doesn't deprecate it now they've seen this.

Pretty sweet... windows will only install with the balanced power plan when installed without an answer file on my brand new laptop... I'm assuming it's because after installation most of my device drivers have to download from windows update so windows basically can't recognize my hardware... will try installing with an answer file and all device drivers on my next installation and see if that helps.

Well I tried installing with the prevent device encryption set during the offline servicing pass and it worked... device encryption was turned off in the OS after install.
Set up windows with all drivers in the answer file but the high performance and minimum power plans are apparently no more... Microsoft has deprecated them I suppose. Different feel to windows when you install it with all the drivers, smoother installation process.
You could try an option in the tutorial below to restore the missing power plans, but they will not be added for modern standby devices. Those will only have the Balanced plan by default. If this is the case, you can still create custom power plans to use instead of the Balanced.

I will go through the tutorial again... maybe this ones a little different... but I tried to restore the power plans before and the command would run with no error but the power plans themselves did not show up.

I'm beginning to think Microsoft in their infinite wisdom has simply deprecated power plans in favor of the much simpler (and less configurable) slider bar. They sell more phones than computers and look what it has done to functionality... if it can't be done on a touch screen with a swipe then it's archaic by todays standards. Guess I'll put my keyboard and mouse on Ebay. Alright enough ranting.
I tried to create a custom power plan but the only option I have is the "balanced" plan where it says start with an existing plan. Many configurable options have also been removed under "change advanced power settings". Here's a shot
OK I've managed to add the high performance power scheme back into the fray with the
powercfg /setactive 8c5e7fda-e8bf-4a96-9a85-a6e23a8c635c
this managed to trick windows into placing the high performance (which still has a key in the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\User\PowerSchemes\8c5e7fda-e8bf-4a96-9a85-a6e23a8c635c) scheme back under the "Control Panel\System and Security\Power Options" but it is still not available to choose for creating a custom plan nor does it have the array of options under advanced settings (see post above) that windows used to boast.
