Wow great add, Shawn. I love this now and it makes the Start menu more usable in my opinion.
So is a change that you suspect we can keep even after they release the final version later this year?

I have a start menu button, but left click doesn't work at all. Option 3 brought up a windows 8 type screen of tiles without a start menu button.

Do you have any 3rd party Start menu program (ex: "Classic Shell", "Start8", etc...) installed by chance that could be causing this?

It looks like you are right clicking on the Start button instead of left clicking on it. What happens when you press the Windows key on your keyboard?
Your registry settings are not correct for step 3 either.
As a test, use step 3 in OPTION ONE below to add a desktop context menu that will let you toggle between using the Start screen or the older resizable Start menu. When you are using the Start menu, the "Customize" button should be ungrayed out.

Unfortunately all this did was to also bring back the nasty Bing search default

The newer search is better for using for local files/ folders... it selects the typed inquiry and the enter key open that suggestion
I'll live with that feature that has been missing in all other versions :)

Did you notice Administrative Tools folder doesn't show up on the 'New' All Apps menu until you go to the 'Other Side' and enable it then come back?
