uninstalled both ant-beacon and search & destroy then rebooted, didn't work also got a message when i went the long way to security center. tried Windows Update Troubleshooter to fix the update problem and that didn't seem to help that.

Are you joined to a Domain, or have any group policies configured for this?

Hello crocodilez3, and welcome to Ten Forums.

Do you have a 3rd part antivirus program installed?

If so, sometimes it will disable Windows Defender.

In that case, go ahead and post some screenshots showing your settings for this from Option 1 to see if it may reveal anything. Be sure to include from top to bottom of the Settings pages.

    Can Anyone figure this out??
The Real-time protection is turned on and working fine. But from the security center you can see the protection is turned off. Quick Scan Button and Advanced Scan button are missing. Also, The Security Center plays an error sound showing nothing while opening every time.
