Hahahha.......Your the best Shawn, stupid me didn't think of restarting....duh.....now its completely REMOVED from my action center, which is what I really wanted anyhow!! Nice job Shawn....as usual

I have the same "bug" - it showed up after a recent update which, ironically, cleared an analogous problem with my airplane mode button lit up as if active when airplane mode was OFF, i.e., internet connection through wifi was fine with both wifi and airplane mode buttons lit.

I've tried disablng bluetooth, then re-enabled and downloaded a driver update - got excited at first because bluetooth button was unlit after this but, alas, the button relit inappropriately after reboot, even when "Manage bluetooth devices" shows it switched off.

Does disabling your Bluetooth adapter in Device Manager like how I posted for Michael also completely turn off Bluetooth for you?

Yes, Shawn, but only insofar as immediate effect (the button became unlit and the text on it greyed out). After making that observation, without re-enabling Bluetooth in device manager, I rebooted. Upon reboot, I find that:

The Bluetooth button in Action center is once again lit,
but "Bluetooth" is gone from the Devices menu, and
Right clicking Bluetooth in Device Manager, presents "Enable" as an option (implying it is indeed disabled).

Yes - that's actually what I meant by

It is an odd bug for it to still be highlighted in Action Center and actually be off.

Hmmm I also had mine disabled in service menu too. Don't know if it would make any difference for you Word Man. ??

Ok Shawn, new update on Bluetooth.
I turn my computer off at nite, when I am done using it. When I turned my computer on this morning, the Bluetooth icon came back and also was displaying that its ON in action center. It was still disabled in device's, also disabled in my services.
Now this is where its gets interesting. I rebooted my computer, and now the Bluetooth Icon is GONE from my Action Center.
So for some strange reason, Their seems to be a difference if I shut my computer down, or just reboot for the Bluetooth issue.

This has to be a Microsoft bug, just like the issue with Opencl.dll problem with Nvidia AND some AMD graphic cards. Anyhow bottom line is these 2 problems don't affect my actual Windows 10 performance, that I can see.
