Cliff S,
I went into task manager, restarted file explorer..that didn't seem to help, I changed to a windows 10 theme..that didn't seem to help. I'm just going to be patient, someday..I'll be able to change the 'title bar' color from the rather drab light gray that it is now.

Maybe it was designed that way from photo editors, a perfect neutral gray so the icons show their true color without bleeding![]()
Hi Shawn,
Thanks so much for once again trying to help ALL of us on this wonderful site ! Of course if I really had /needed to for a 'valid' reason, I could of course go into the registry and change it. Have a GREAT day !
David :)
Hi All,
I was hoping with the latest build (10074) that the color and appearance (being able to change border color, etc.) might have been fixed. Much to my dismay..it hasn't changed.

Be sure to use the "Windows Feedback" app to let Microsoft know. If they get enough requests, they may add it back. :)
Tip
Update:
In Windows 10 Insider Preview build 10122, the selected color is also applied to your sign in screen.
gah! i hate the white title bar on windows 10, M$ Bring back the color you fools !
i've read how to change theme with the new theme by Brink that allows changing window title bars, but my Windows isn't activated yet, so i can't "technically" change themes, is there a work around for that ?
