I wasn't able to delete all restore points by command line vssadmin delete shadows /all /quiet as I've got "Access denied" all the time, but then I've created a task to do it automatically for me every 2 months and no problem with the same command, just by adding cmd.exe /c in the beginning (in task scheduler).
    Hello bl00keRs,

Just to verify, did you run the command in an elevated command prompt?

Sorry, but just had to verify since "access denied" is usually from not having elevated rights. It's a very easy mistake to make.

Right. Those were points created by me in powershell as Modify_Settings, if that matters.

    Hello @Brink ,

    I used vssadmin delete shadows /all /quiet.

I then checked to see if everything had been Removed . . .

Is the 307.50 MB something to do with a Restore Point being created directly AFTER the installation which is STOPPING it from being Removed, or another reason please?

    I ran it again and got this [ Strange ] . . .

    Hello Paul,

The 307.50 MB is just the max size set to be used for restore points.

The "Current Usage" in your screenshot shows nothing is being used right now.

    Thank you.

I can see now that is the Minimum that can be Set because I tried to Set it to 0% [ Still shows 1% ] . . .

    You're most welcome.

Correct. 1% is the lowest you can set for minimum. You can only get 0% if you turn off System Protection.

Thanks again. I just thought that because I have System Restore Disabled I could achieve that, but I can see the logic now.
