Customize Start List Folders in Windows 10

    Your choices are limited. The Start Menu is not very flexible. Want a user friendly start menu? Classic/Open Shell... many recommend and use here - but not all.

    Hello @WTenNewbie,

    If you like, you could use step 4 in Option One of the tutorial below to add a folder that contains your own shortcuts in the All apps list on the Start menu.

    Or I add a shortcut to my %userprofile% directory and enable the "Personal Folder" on the very left side of the start menu (the one in your first printscreen in this tutorial)

    MS removed this option in the CU update a year ago.
