    information   Information
When you change the color in Windows 10, it will change the color of your Start menu accents, Start button, taskbar, title bars, window borders, buttons, text, Settings accents, sign-in screen accents, and Action Center accents.

This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off showing accent color only on title bars without affecting color on Start, taskbar, and action center for your account in Windows 10.

    Note   Note
If you turn on show accent color on title bar, your chosen color will show on the active title bar. Inactive tile bars will be white.

If you turn off show accent color on title bar, all title bars will only show with the default white instead of your color.

I was using aerolite theme. I tried disable/enable this multiple times but it doesn't work : perhaps it's a conflict with another tweak from this "appearence" section..? Annoying anyways..!! If you have an idea of what could do this, please tell me!

    Hello unko, :)

I just tested this again to see if anything may have changed, and it's still working fine for me as is in the tutorial.

What build of Windows 10 are you running?

Here i thought this was going to be an added feature on build 10586, but still need to use a .bat file to do so.

It had been like in the tutorial below, but it's a global setting for Start, taskbar, action center, and title bar.

This tutorial will let you turn on/off the color for only the title bar instead. :)
