Maybe when i will try add this to my layout it will help

Configure Windows 10 taskbar (Windows 10) | Microsoft Docs
Remove default apps and add your own
By adding PinListPlacement="Replace" to <CustomTaskbarLayoutCollection>, you remove all default pinned apps; only the apps that you specify will be pinned to the taskbar.

If you only want to remove some of the default pinned apps, you would use this method to remove all default pinned apps and then include the default app that you want to keep in your list of pinned apps.

That certainly is a good option to use when you don't want any of the defaults.

Can't pin anything to the task bar

Sorry to be a bother, but I used the bat file posted in the first post and it worked, it got rid of the pesky Microsof Store and Edge links, but now I can't pin anything to the task bar. I'm not power user and this is incredibly irritating, could anyone please give me some ideas?

Hello DFSL, and welcome to Ten Forums.

I just tested on my system to see if something may have changed, but it cleared all off the taskbar other than the Start menu icon and still able to pin to taskbar apps.

As a test, restart the computer and see if you are able to pin to taskbar afterwards.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I kept using the computer as it was and after hundreds of restarts I still can't pin anything to the taskbar. Please also have in mind the "pin to taskbar" command never appears in the context menu of both of my PCs, one affected by this problem and the other not.

This tutorial wouldn't affect the "Pin to taskbar" context menu, so you got more going on here.

You can use the tutorial below to restore the "Pin to taskbar context menu to see if you're able to pin afterwards.

I'm sorry to say the reg file for adding the "pin to the taskbar" command didn't do anything, even after restarting.

In that case, go ahead and post a screenshot showing what you are right clicking on and what you're seeing to see if anything may stand out as a cause.

Oh I hope it's useful because Windows is localized in spanish.

I don't see any reason why the "Pin to taskbar" context menu item would be missing like this.

Do you remember if you used something like in the tutorial below to disable "Pin to taskbar" for apps?
