I really do not understand what you mean? You need OOBE to get Windows set up.

You also posted this in another thread:

I can only tell you this:

Apart from booting to WinPE or installation, you can only boot Windows in Normal, Safe, OOBE and Audit modes.
    • Normal Mode = Start or restart PC to boot to installed and set up existing Windows installation.
    • Safe Mode = Select Startup settings in Advanced Startup Options (tutorial)
    • OOBE Mode (Windows Welcome) = Last phase of Windows installation, an existing installation can be restarted in OOBE Mode with command %windir%\system32\sysprep\sysprep.exe /oobe /reboot
    • Audit Mode = Can be started from OOBE with CTRL + SHIFT + F3, or from desktop with command %windir%\system32\sysprep\sysprep.exe /audit /reboot

OK, finding your thread where you explain this a bit better I got what you mean. You want to bypass OOBE, automate it.

I am examining your answer file at the moment, I will post later in your thread (Windows 10 - unable to build a sysprep image without OOBE - Windows 10 Forums)

CopyProfile with WDS (image capture and deployment)

Have you ever tried using CopyProfile with WDS? I'm not sure how to get it working. Everytime I go into Audit mode, customize, then sysprep, I capture the image and boot to the captured image, but there are no customizations (desktop icons, background, etc.) I made sure there were no user accounts on the original "golden image" machine before taking the capture. Any ideas on what I'm missing? Thanks for all your help!

those who have issue of search in startmenu after copyprofile can use this trick.

after sysprep, go use window PE to navigate to C:\Users\administrators\appdata\local\microsoft\ .you should able to see "Windows" folder. Rename the folder to "Windows1" and create a new folder named as "Windows" and copy the content of "Windows1" folder to the "Windows" folder you have created.Delete the "Windows1" folder and reboot to finish your oobe.

I understand that, in Audit mode, the Windows and Microsoft Store automatic updates do not work. Right? If yes, it is possible to activate the functionality Windows Insider in order to download and install only a test build? If not, as I do, in normal mode, to download and install only a test build?

To capture an offline image of Windows 10, I am using Windows PE integrated into the Windows 10 v1703 installation DVD with the dism /capture-image /imageFile:<Image-scratch_partition_letter>:\install.wim /captureDir:<Primary_partition_letter>:\ /ScratchDir:<Image-scratch_partition_letter>:\Scratch /Name:"<Edition_Name>" /Description:"<Descripion_Name>" /Compress:maximum /checkIntegrity /Verify /Bootable command.
Using this command with this DVD, does the image capture process also use the WimScript.ini file to exclude from the capturing all the files and directories included in this file, or do I need to create a specific file?

    Thanks

Regarding the problem where CopyProfile broke certain functions in Windows 10 v1703 (such as the Start Menu, Cortana/Search, Edge). The solution that worked for me was to delete the following folders/files.

    C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WebCache\
    C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\
    C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WebCacheLock.dat

Delete them after running the command "sysprep.exe /generalize /oobe /shutdown /unattend:X:\unattend.xml" and the computer has gone offline.

Starting Windows in normal mode, how do I just download and install a testing build so that I can capture its offline image?

    Thanks

In other words, how do I get an offline image of the last test build without any updates from a version 1703 of Windows 10?

I want to know this because, before downloading the latest build via Windows Update, Windows downloads the regular updates and updates its app. How can I avoid this?

    Thanks

This tool allows you to also download the latest testing builds of Windows 10 and Office 2016?

    Thanks
