Are you able to sign in to your account without 'Password incorrect, please try again'?

If not, then you can sign in to the built-in "Administrator" account, to remove your account's password.

You could try option 4 (local account) or 5 (Microsoft account) below to reset the password of your account at sign-in.

If not and you are unable to sign in to any administrator account on the computer, then you may be looking at having to clean install Windows to start over.

Before going the clean install route, check to see if your account is a local account or a Microsoft account. A clean install will not help with the password for a Microsoft account.

Perhaps your keyboard layout is corrupted and you are not typing in the passwords you think you are typing in?

1 Check that you were issuing that command in an elevated command prompt.
