I do not have any options on the Administrator sign in screen. The only option I have is to Sign in, which leads to a smart card is required.
I am not entirely sure by what a domain means. My laptap only had one account on it, which was my personal user account. It had administrator privileges, until I stupidely removed all rights from the account.
I really don't know what to do anymore.
If you don't see "Administrator" on the Sign-in screen, then it didn't get enabled.
If you like, you might try Option 4 again to see if you may have just made a mistake or missed something the first time.
Administrator is on the Sign-in screen, however I am unable to log onto it because it requires a smart card, which I do not have (or have never heard of for that matter).
It looks like you may need to clean install at boot then. Be sure to back up what you can from your account first if able.

I can't log in to my laptop and here are the details. The problem started while I was adding my emails to the email app in windows and one of them was assigned as the main account by mistake, and i managed to delete it. Then, every time i signed back in or restarted the device i found it stuck in the email account (though i've deleted it) or another one I made. So, I deleted all emails involved just to make sure nothing gets attached, and I remember going to run command then typing "netplwiz' and then deleting the only account that I saw in the accounts area, obviously i made a HUGE mistake! . My laptop is Asus, and now the account's name that it chooses to sign in with is Asus which I have no idea how to open, nor what type of account is it.
Since then, I've been trying many solutions. I've tried to do Option Four, I came to step 5 and when i typed (REM_SAM) it gave me that the file is in use. I tried to navigate to a different partition but I couldn't find the partition where it has windows on, its only appearing in C drive (the main one i guess).
I tried other methods, such as using the windows installation media drive (I've managed to burn it on a usb) but it was also pointless cause I couldn't locate windows in other partitions than C drive.
I even tried installing a software on a usb flash drive and boot from it to reset the password, and I managed to make the password blank but it still didn't open the laptop.
I have no idea what else to do and its been a lot frustrating

In step 5 of Option Four, you can use the "C" drive letter if it has the "Windows\System32\config" path in it.

I was a bit scared to edit on the C drive, but I followed ur advice and it went well.
Is there any steps now to revert back to my old user and log out of the administrator ?
I know how to disable the administrator but what should I do first ?

Once you have signed in to this "Administrator" account, you'll need to add your Microsoft account (MSA) back since you mistakenly deleted that account.

Once you have added your MSA back and made it an administrator, you can sign in to it, and disable the "Administrator" account using any of the other options (ex: Option 1).
I've just been perusing this tutorial and I'm wondering why I would ever need to enable and logon to the built in admin account? I'm guessing I would only need it if my main admin account is ever inaccessible or not functioning correctly?
I actually have a secondary / backup admin account which I never use but is there in case my main admin account has problems.

That's correct. The built-in Administrator account is basically a backup local account with elevated rights.
