    How to View Storage Usage of Drives in Windows 10


    Storage usage let's you see what's filling your local storage and free up some space on your PC.

    This tutorial will show you how to view the storage usage of your local storage drives in Windows 10.



    Here's How:

    1 Open Settings, and click/tap on the System icon.

    2 Click/tap on Storage on the left side, and click/tap on the View storage usage on other drives link on the right side under More storage settings. (see screenshot below)

    3 Click/tap on the drive you want to view the storage usage of. (see screenshot below)

    4 You will now see how storage is being used on this specific drive. (see screenshots below)

    5 You can click/tap on each item listed in step 4 above for any available options to manage its storage usage. (see screenshots below)

    There still doesn't seem to be an option to clean up as an admin like in the classic disk cleanup utility. I'm assuming that if you choose to clean up in the settings app, it only affects your current account. It's not practical to switch to an admin account to perform maintenance tasks like that, unless there's a way to launch settings as one. When classic disk cleanup eventually disappears from control panel, things will get more inconvenient for the cleanliness freaks.
