    Hi Shawn, just tried this after responding to a post where someone's just lost their new laptop.

    Is it worth noting that the PC to be found only needs to be switched on and booted but not logged in?
    - and presumably must have the original disk in?

    It's also interesting to see how accurate the location of the found PC is.
    - for the one connected by Wi-fi it was a couple of roads (in a suburban environment) north.
    - for the one connected by ethernet, it was about 3 roads south.

    Yeah, GPS precise it is not.

    i.e. if they take the system disk out.. no chance of finding it. And I don't think my PC has any form of GPS...

    It would also need to be connected to the Internet.
