I cannot generate sfcdetails.txt file according to option 5 instr.

    Hi Brink,

My sfcdetails.txt file is empty. Your code to generate it in the text has a quotation mark at the end, while in your screenshot there isn't. Anyway, I tried both ways, and it's nothing. Please help. Thanks.

Hello Yanif, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

If you ran SFC offline (at boot) in OPTION ONE or OPTION TWO, SFC logging in the CBS.log file is not supported to be able to create a sfcdetails.txt file.

    Hi Brink,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I didn't run SFC offline, I ran it in Windows 10.

I found another file in cbs folder called CbsPersist_20150815150320 and generated sfcdetails.txt, which is attached. Besides some hash mismatch, I also find following:
2015-08-15 09:13:03, Info CSI 00005c59 [SR] This component was referenced by [l:338{169}]"Microsoft-Windows-Client-Features-Package-AutoMerged-admin~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.10240.16384.Microsoft-Windows-Client-Features-Package-AutoMerged-admin-Deployment"
2015-08-15 09:13:03, Info CSI 00005c5c [SR] Could not reproject corrupted file [ml:162{81},l:160{80}]"\??\C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\Microsoft.PowerShell.Host"\[l:60{30}]"Microsoft.PowerShell.Host.psd1"; source file in store is also corrupted

    sfcdetails.txt

If you haven't already, see if going through the items listed in the blue note box at the bottom of OPTION THREE to see if may allow SFC to repair this file afterwards.

Never saw these other options, wondering any difference from doing the Standard option 3 compared to the others for SFC.

Those are for in case SFC is not able to repair the file using say OPTION THREE normally. :)
