Run SFC Command in Windows 10

In that case there's no need to run SFC anymore since nothing was found wrong.

Check your running processes in Task Manager to see if it may be something like the index, updates, AV scan, etc... that may be running in the background to catch up from being powered off for that long.

That's the weird thing it was only off for a few seconds and came right back on. The power went out before for a second or 2 and when my pc came back on it was fine this time it's running slow even with a 12 core cpu. Not sure what i can use on a ssd to do a short and long read test on the drive. I use seagate tools for my regular hdd's but not sure for ssd's.

Edit: What i did was take my wifes ssd and after making a system image of her drive i made one of mine and installed my os on her drive my windows image ran fine from her ssd. So i'm lead to believe my ssd got messed up some how.

You can use one or more options in the tutorial below to check the reported health status of your SSD. If it all checks out ok, then possibly a clean install on the SSD may sort it if it was just a corruption and not hardware issue.

Some time ago we discussed the subject of Option 5 [generating the SFCDetails file] not requiring any Admin permissions. I thought we had agreed but I can see that the tutorial still says that elevation is required.

Elevation does not change anything in the results.
Elevation can cause confusion for people who are following MS recommendations to use standard user accounts for day to day work - using the code given in Options 5, elevation sends the SFCDetails file to the Desktop of the Admin account used to approve the command rather than the Desktop of the currently logged on account.

Personally, I also still think that the reference to
%userprofile%\Desktop
should be preceded by a warning that a user who has relocated their Desktop folder should insert their actual Desktop path in the command. People who have relocated their Desktops do not necessarily understand variables such as
%userprofile%
and might not appreciate that it no longer applies to them. In other words, they might not understand that
%userprofile%\Desktop
means precisely the same as
C:\Users\%UserName%\Desktop
whether or not the Desktop has been relocated.

I have Windows 10 v 20H2 and my Desktop is in This PC > Desktop. I also found desktop here in C:\Users\mpwid\OneDrive\Desktop. I tried substituting both in Power Shell command line you give to see the results of my sfc scan. I didn't move it. That is where it has always been.
I am not techy enough to make it work.
Can you help with the correct command line? The scan was good, I just wanted to keep a copy for my records.
