You probably should note in this guide that this "Command prompt" can't be used to update BIOS. For that you'll need rufus or equivalent and create a bootable USB with FreeDOS (default setting in refus).
I assumed as you had to reboot to get to the cmd that it was a "DOS prompt".
You need to enable "legacy mode" in BIOS (UEIF is probably default), or you can't boot the USB.
After update of BIOS I re-enabled UEIF but I also had to re-enable something called "Windows boot manager" in BIOS. Though I never remember having to do that to get Win10 to boot properly before.
