You're welcome. I hope the Power icon stays put for you now.

I'm running Win10 Pro x64 on a desktop PC, and I do have a connected UPS. However, the option to show the Power tray icon is disabled for me. I know about the "Choose Power Plan" context menu option, but it bothers me that I can't show the icon... Any ideas?

    Hello meh, :)

If you have the UPS's software installed, it may be replacing the Power icon with whatever its software uses instead. For me, I had to uninstall APC PowerChute .

Thanks, but that's not the case. I do have CyberPower PowerPanel Business installed, but it's purely a background service. But I'm guessing you're onto something. Windows probably disabled it because the manufacturer driver is installed.

That's what happens to me on my APC UPS.

Yep, it does the same for me. Turing off (hide) the language bar doesn't help.
The original problem why the word ENG is showing is because you have input indicator enabled in (turn system icons on or off) once the input indicator is disabled in (turn system icons on or off) then any other setting including the language bar, will not be necessary. I hope that helps you.

    Hey John, :)

It should probably be a notification area icon instead.
