    Hi Brink,

I don't have the option "Data Usage" available under the settings!!

It was available before and I used it several times, now it's gone!

    Hello AbdoZaghloul,

Odd that it's not showing any usage details. You might run the network troubleshooter to see if reports anything.

I have tried a lot of fixes before I post, but none fix that unfortunately.

    I tried:
    - Run the network troubleshooter several times.
    - Resetting the wireless driver as suggested by the troubleshooter.
    - Reinstall the driver.
    - Updating the wireless driver.
    - Run the System File Checker "SFC".

In that case, you might consider trying a repair install to see if it may fix this without losing anything.

I think that is the only option I have, I will give it a go later.

I have been searching and found that the files related to data consumption under "C:\Windows\System32\sru" are there, and after I delete them they are reinitiated.

That means the Data Usage is working I guess, but why it's not showing?

    -- Edit --
I remembered that I used a program which alters system configs called "O&O ShutUp10" and I used all the recommended settings.

I don't know if it has something to do with this issue ,I gave it another look but didn't spot any option related to data usage.

    Hi Brink,

So I have just performed a repair install as you advised, but I still don't have the option "Data Usage" available under the settings on the left menu!!

Now thankfully I can set the connection as a "metered connection" and I can view "Data Usage" from the status tab.

But there is no dedicated tab to the "Data Usage" as it was before.

    Any thoughts on that?

    Hello mate,

"Data usage" has been removed as a separate page since Windows 10 build 18956.

Data usage is now included on the "Status" page like in your screenshot.
