You should make separate tutorial about this Cliff
    @AndreTen, I think it's fine here, thanks:)
I did give the post a title, so it should show up in the forums search results better.
Maybe eventually I could add a video to it, but I've been working on another one, on & off(more off) the last month.

    Hello,

Do you mean from option 29 for the tutorial below?

Set CPU Process Priority for Applications in Windows 10

I think you may mean for this below to add the context menu??

Add 'Run with priority' Context Menu in Windows 10

    Greets,

    Wonderful Tutorial!

    Just To Share:

    1. I experienced massive performance gains by Disabling some default rules Individually in "Windows Defender Firewall Advanced Settings > In bound & Out bound rules".

Just Disable the individual rules, Don't do any other thing! So that you can Enable it / them again if needed!

For Safety follow Backup And Restore Windows Defender Firewall Settings

Take Care: It depends on personal usage, habits & practices.

    2. Mystified with this Firewall Settings' blocking, I went a way ahead & used O&O ShutUp 10 as well with marginal gains!

    3. If anybody goes ahead with 'Disabling Search Index', he may use a Free Real Time Non-Indexing Search Program

((( My pick is AgentRansack Lite OR FileLocator Lite!

Normal Installation & then choose between Pro ( License ), Pro ( Trial ) Or Lite on the first run.

It does not replace the default 'Windows Search' but you can launch it by pressing 'Ctrl+F' Or 'F3' key in any Windows Explorer Window. For me works 'Ctrl+F'. The F3 is already assigned to brightness by default. )))

    4. I would like to Add 'Copy To Folder' & 'Move To Folder' To The Context Menu

    5. I love using ExtremeCopy Standard to take over the ''Windows Copy Function''.

    6. I love using Clover 3 to add Tabs to Windows Explorer.
Warning: Download & Use only Clover 3.0.406 . Clover 3.5.4 has ADWARE!

    Thanks. ...

    Hello, fellow 10F members,
I have a question about the High Performance power plan suggestion: What happens when you set the minimum processor state to 0%? I saw a video that instructed viewers to set their power plan to high performance to make their computer faster, but they also added that you need to change the Minimum processor state to 0%. Is this necessary? I changed it for testing purposes, but I haven't really noticed a difference in performance; however, I did notice a difference in CPU temperature.

    Hello TON,

The High Performance power plan just has all its settings preset to maximize performance. This of course will also use more electricity and generate more heat. You will need to have good cooling to offset this.

You are still able to customize the settings in this power plan like changing the Minimum processor state to 0%. If it helps to keep temps lower without losing performance, I say it would be a good thing.

The Minimum processor state setting in Power Options allows users to specify the minimum percentage of processor capabilities to use. Lower percentage may result in significantly better battery life, but possibly lower performance.
