    Note   Note
    Upgrade from Anniversary Update Build 14393 to Creators Update (latest build being 15063) is now live. An extract from 15063 release notes:

    Notice that as build 14393 does not have the UUP mechanism in place, the upgrade will be delivered as an ESD upgrade. ESDtoISO script in this tutorial works without issues in creating a Windows 10 Creators Update ISO image.

    @Kari, thanks for the update!

    Will be testing this once again on other machine once Creators Update gets released to the general public.

    Just be patient! When testing this, I needed first an hour or so to fully update 14393.0 before it after a restart finally found 15063.

    Just went from a working 14393.969 > 15063 via Windows Update - did not restart to upgrade, but ran ESDtoISO and upgraded from ISO. The only new stuff I saw during late setup was a page allowing current Default Programs by deselecting Photos, Edge, Groove and Films&TV Apps, just before the Use Cortana page.

    What are my defaults now? - Photos, Edge, etc - why bother upgrading and keeping apps and offering a choice not to overwrite the users defaults, then just ride roughshod over the choices made?

    Thanks, @Kari!

    Upgrading now, and can confirm that ESDtoISO, on Windows 10 Home x64 14393.970 en-GB, for creating 15063.0 ISO, works really great.

    Have you guys seen this file. It's what's used by MCT to get the ESD's.

    They are encrypted - the ESD decrypter still works with these.

    NB: <PublishedMedia id="1355" release="20170411 RS2_RTM WU">

    .. so assume GA is April 11th.

    Yes, and we have the Decryption key also, just in case our decrypter can't find one :)
