The pro ISO is for installing Pro only.

I know in the forums they're was talk on how to make the exact .ISO that you need, but as I am not at my computer I can't find it. It might have even been earlier in this very thread.

If you haven't found it by the time I get home this evening (currently almost 1400 hours local) I will take a look and see if I can find it.

The ESD2ISO should work with that ESD that is the combined version, though.

You could export the Home edition from the esd into install.wim. Home would then be image 2 in the install.wim.

    Then delete Image 1 (Pro)

The Pro ISO outputs as below although I'm a little unsure as to why you straightaway assign the index as 1
It's deprecated... before there was only 1 index. Assigning gets done at setup.

The Install.wim I created from esd shows all indexes.

Well, does it not depend on how the ISO is created? i.e does it just look at the first index or wot?

maybe it's a case of ESD tool not being able to detect the right version from the Install.esd file. As in my earlier post it says combined in the file name which probably indicates it does contain the CORE version...
I would like to know if there'a a way to get the ESD tool to recognize the CORE build from the existing ESD.
the ESD does have every edition listed...
    Details for image : I:\sources\install.wim
    Index : 1
    Name : Windows 10 Pro
    Description : Windows 10 Pro
    Size : 15,870,553,953 bytes
He seems to be saying the ESD has several images, yet the resultant install.wim has only one.

I have all images in my install.wim.
