    This will take time...

Will do the upgrade test but I got a BSOD just now on my host (or GSOD as it's now green in 15002). Had simply too much going on, streaming TV from my native Finland over Miracast on TV, two other displays full with activity like one W10 VM upgrading through WU, this W8.1 upgrading to W10 on another VM, 10+ tabs open in Edge and so on.

Slowly putting pieces back together after restart, have to prioritize. W8.1 upgrade to 10 is not on Top 5 priorities list at the moment but will do it later tonight (it's 2 minutes past midnight here but luckily I'm in a really bad insomnia cycle ).

OK, seems that there's no need for any additional steps with boot.wim when making ISO from UUP, the UUP to ISO method (tutorial) works perfectly.

Have done some extensive testing last night and today, an ISO can easily be made either as told in this tutorial if you have edited registry to get ESD upgrade, or as told in UUP to ISO tutorial if you have UUP enabled as is default nowadays.

    PLEASE NOTICE:

Those of you geeks preferring ESD, remember that even if you got ESD upgrade last time, installing new build like 15019 last week has reset the registry and re-enabled UUP, regardless if you upgraded to it or clean installed it.

It looks that we will get build 15025 later today. If you want to get it as ESD upgrade, don't forget to edit the registry again disabling UUP. See instructions in this post.

    PLEASE NOTICE!

There's a fair chance we will get a new Insider build today or tomorrow. If you want to get it as a UUP upgrade you are ready to go, there's nothing you have to do.

However, if you want to get the next build as ESD upgrade you have to remember to disable UUP now. Instructions and downloadable registry files can be found in this post.

Keep on your mind that UUP registry settings will always reset to UUP enabled / ESD disabled when you upgrade, and are set to UUP enabled / ESD disabled after a clean install. This means that even if you disabled UUP and got build 15031 as an ESD upgrade, your registry was reset when you upgraded and is again set to enable UUP.

If you do not edit registry again leaving it as it is, you will get the next build as UUP upgrade.
