    Hi Kyhi,

I download the ISO with Microsoft Media Creation Tool, that is not the correct ESD?

I want to convert it to WIM

    Thanks you

    Suggestion for the Tutorial:
Show how to throttle the Windows Update speed otherwise it is a bandwidth hog. I can't even use my other computer's internet during build downloads.
Local Group Policy Editor - Administrative - Network - BITS - set Maintenance schedule/limits or Work schedule/limits.

    Note   Note
    PLEASE NOTICE:

The tool and the method in this tutorial work without issues with the latest Insider Build 14267 ESD file, released today.

The tool was last updated on January 28, 2016; if you have downloaded the tool after that update you don't have to redownload it. If your tool was downloaded earlier, please remove it (delete the folder) and redownload before using it. The older version of the tool might create faulty ISO image or not work at all with Build 14267 ESD file.

Download link in the first post (step 1.3).

@Kari, Morning! I need some help real quick..... I have downloaded and installed 14267 TWICE (thru WU). The install.esd file, according to Kari's latest ESDtoISO says it is 14257 (option #5). I have done this twice and carefully copied files and re-downloaded Kari's package. I'm lost! Watermark on upgrade says 14267 but install.esd says 14257. ISO created says 14257 in details of setup.exe. I don't have a clue!

Is "Install.esd says 14257..." referring to the ESD info you get selecting menu item 3 in old tool or item 5 in the new one, the "ESD file info":
ESD to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 ESD File-2016_02_19_16_53_421.png

The information given by it is accurate:
ESD to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 ESD File-2016_02_19_16_55_132.png

If it says it's 14267 ESD file, you can be sure the ISO created from it will be 14267. The ISO always matches the ESD.

Thanks, Kari. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out HOW the install.esd from BT$/Sources is 14257 when I'm downloading 14267 thru WU!
