ESD to ISO is really very simple. Here is my shortcut procedure. Read the text first, then it's 1, 2, 3.

Wolfgang, the process itself is easy but the crypto keys and binaries required for decryption have changed several times since the first builds.

Anyway, I finally found working binaries with the tip and help both from @Cluster Head and @Brink. The tool is updated and working.

It's 5:13 AM, time to go to bed :)

I did the upgrade to Windows 10 about 6 weeks ago. I am wishing now I had done the bootable ISO in case of a future crash. Is it still possible to download the Win.10 ISO and do this, even though Windows 10 is already installed?

Yes sir. You can do it anytime as much as you want if you encountered problems with the upgrade. That's what most of us do every upgrade... clean install.

Here's Brink's tutorial on how to create a USB installer (Personally, I would recommend the 2nd Option) : https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...dows-10-a.html

To create the ISO, follow Kari's tutorial at the beginning of this thread.
