I have today updated the tool used in tutorial with current, valid encryption keys (version 6.7 of the script). It now works with every build up to Build 10525 released today, letting you to create a bootable ISO image from the install.esd file downloaded from Windows Update, to be used as mounted virtual drive for in-place upgrade or when burned to DVD or USB Flash Drive for a clean install.
    Thanks Kari!

What is the difference between the first three volume images of an install.esd file?

If I wanted to add more editions to an install.esd file, I do not have to change the first three volume images. Right?

    Thanks

You have checked the C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources and C:\RecoveryImage folders? If not found, open the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder in File Explorer and type ext:esd to Explorer search field, you might find it in one of the subfolders there. (Search ext:esd searches for all files with the ESD extension.)

If you find the ESD file use the tool option 3 to check the ESD file information before starting the ISO writing process:

See that it really the ESD (build) you want to make the ISO from:

I do not have any of those folders:

I did have the BT\Sources before I ran the disk cleanup tool. But that is OK Kari, I do not really need it as there will be another Insiders build soon enough. Thanks For your Help Kari!

Are you sure? You realize those are hidden system folders. If you copy C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources or C:\RecoveryImage from here to File Explorer address field and hit Enter, nothing happens?

Right I have hidden files shown. But like I said I don't really need to have an ISO anyway. Thanks again.

To Clarify I do have the software distribution\downloads one but there is not an ESD in there.
