    Hello Dimitri, :)

There's no need to delete them in order to reset Microsoft Edge, but you could delete their contents if wanted though.

These folders are empty for me, so I'm not 100% sure what it's used for other than it appearing to be a cache.

    Thanks a lot Shawn.

    What about the %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\PRICache\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_38.14393.1066.0_neutral__8wekyb3d8 bbwe

Should I delete it altogether? Or is it needed for the new version? Do you also have both of them?

I have both as well, but they're empty for me.

It should be fine to only delete the contents of these folders if wanted, but I wouldn't delete the actual folders

OK... a remnant (?) folder won't hurt anybody.
I'll cross my fingers (to resolve the Edge instability) and go ahead to reset it.

Thanks again for your time! Take care :)

Anytime. Please let us know how it turns out if you do delete the other's content.

By the way, just FYI, all apps in this PRIcache folder have both versions (14393 and 15063) kept for some reason.
So leaving both folder versions for Edge as is, is the wise thing to be done!

I'll be off for a while to reset, Edge.

    Update:
    1. Reset worked perfectly (Favorites imported by copying backed-up folder....most reliable method),
    2. Edge instability and numerous errors (30, from restart) STILL there.

I guess I'll move to another thread, regarding Edge problems.

Since one of the last 2 or 3 Windows Updates I keep having the MicrosoftEdgeCP.exe Stopped Working error reported in Reliability History. Will this reset solve that issue?
