    FYI: Winaero has a PowerShell script to use firewall blocking:

    Disable Web Search in Taskbar in Windows 10 Version 2004

    (Not tested by me.)

    I did not update my systems yet for the reason of not being able to disable web searches.

    Brink, did you try this registry setting?

    The site claims that it works...

    This Patch Tuesday is tricky for people, who disabled updating because of v2004. I guess downloading "Patch Tuesday" is an option?

    You could pause updates for a while, or disable automatic updates to selectively install what you want when you want.

    I just tested, and it does indeed work. Thank you.

    Tutorial now updated to work again in Windows 10 version 2004 and higher.
