Thank you for this. Worked perfectly on my Win 10 Acer. Was receiving update error and this fixed it as expected.

Doing this will reset your User Account from Admin to Standard depsite it saying it Admin, To fix this one has to open an admin CMD and run
    net user administrator /active:yes

Sign out of computer go into the Administrator that is listed there go to User Accounts>manage account types you will notice it say ADMIN is selected ( its really not) pick standard hit apply go back into manage accounts types it will now show standard ( as it really is now) select Admin hit apply.

Account Type - Change in Windows 10

Sign out go back to your normal user name. open task manager will no longer prompt the uac window. from there you can open an admin CMD and run
    net user administrator /active:no

to turn off that admin login

The bug seem to set users back to standard but it wont update GUI. I have now had to do this 3 times each time after the wu reset was used

    Hello @nichigo13,

Just to verify and for more info, did you restart the computer immediately after resetting Windows Update with the .bat file?

I've noticed issues like you described for some if the computer wasn't immediately restarted.

I get one error (ran without echo off)

    Code:
    C:\Windows\System32>sc config wuauserv start= auto
    [SC] ChangeServiceConfig SUCCESS

    C:\Windows\System32>sc config bits start= auto
    [SC] ChangeServiceConfig SUCCESS

    C:\Windows\System32>sc config DcomLaunch start= auto
    [SC] OpenService FAILED 5:
    Access is denied.
I'm getting Windows Update error 0x800f0922 when installing KB4464330. Tried this but so far this didn't help.

    Hello Ciantic,

The last command you got an error for was to make sure the DCOM Server Process Launcher service was set to have its startup type as "Automatic" (default).

Did you restart the computer right after running the .bat file?
