    Hello deersfeet, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

    What are you seeing instead?

    In addition, where are you right clicking at? Some locations will only have New -> Folder.

    Did not work for me either - I'm on Win10/64 1709 Build 16299.125. Here's what I have after trying the Reg file to add TXT file back and also Restore Defaults:

    It was a registry file and had immediate effect.

    Hello Daniel, :)

    In that case, see if downloading and merging the .reg file for the listed txt item in Option Two below may be able to restore it for you. It includes the full registry entries for .txt files in case something other than the "New" entries are missing.
