How to Change Windows 10 Feedback Frequency

The Feedback frequency control lets you choose how often you’d like Microsoft to ask for your feedback as you use Windows 10. It's recommend that you select Automatically. By providing feedback you agree that Microsoft may use your feedback to improve their products and services.

If you have a Windows Insider preview version of Windows 10 installed, then you will not be able to change the Feedback frequency setting since the Windows Insider Program manages this option.

in 1803, the pulldown menu is locked as it thinks we are in the insider program (obviously we ain't).
in the registry, i already have NumberOfSIUFInPeriod set as 0. there's no existing entry for PeriodInNanoSeconds though.

    Hello @pzhndal, :)

I have updated the tutorial to add Options 3 and 4.

If you disable Windows Feedback Notifications, it will set "Feedback frequency" to "Never" and can't be changed.

I posted in another thread where I suggested that the wording of 'Windows Insider Programme manages this option' could be just a poor choice of wording in that it means the guys involved with development of W10 are overseeing this, and that it doesn't imply that either you or the version installed is an 'insider'.

No, yes :) I won't mention it again.

Yes, it is poor wording since it also affects those not running an Insider build.
