I was hopeful, but kept getting the error message below even though this is an administrator account and used "Run as administrator" on the app.

Weird it work for me, I'm running Windows 10 LTSC Version 1809 OS Build 17763.107. I did have to install .Net 2 & 3 (it was a package with both in it) before it will work.

    Hello @Brink ,

I have mucked something up and I can't seem to figure out how to get it back.

I have got the Lock Screen Disabled. I did have the cave when I Signed-Out with just the Sign-In screen. Worked great. I have changed something and now I have got like ruins, water, pebbles, and snow on a mountain.

I downloaded the file and tried to use my customised .jpg file [ same as my Desktop Background, but I keep getting the error below . . .

I even tried using My Resolution.

    Have you ANY ideas please?

    Hello @Paul Black,

What are you using to change the Lock screen background. That doesn't look like the Settings page.

Sorry, I am using this > How to Change Sign-in Screen Background Image in Windows 10. I had a few Tutorials open and I have posted this in the wrong one I think, sorry.

I could cope with just having the Cave back.

    @Paul Black,

I just tested Windows 10 Login Background Changer on my system, and I'm getting the same error message when trying to select an image.

It appears to be a bug with the program.

The Windows 10 Login Background Changer tool used in this tutorial will no longer work starting with Windows 10 build 14279 and higher.

OK, thanks for testing that out. Any idea how I can get the Cave Image back for the Sign-Out background please?

I have the Lock Screen Disabled, and have the ruins, water, pebbles, and snow on a mountain on Sign-Out.

Not without enabling the lock screen again to have the sign-in screen use the same image.

I Re-Imaged back, ran my Script which applied the extra settings that I had added, and I am back with the Cave on the Sign-In and Sign-Out screen. I had obviously mucked it well and truly up, but OK now.

I even tried to get the Cave picture back using the image in %SystemRoot%\Web\Screen\img100.jpg but it was NOT having it!

    Thanks again.

Glad all is well again. Makes you wonder what you set though.
