Option2 does work. Wonder why I didn't try that before.
This already solves the issue that if I do not pay attention things get saved on my C disk which is SSD and I want to keep only for programs.
But: now I have a map D:\Documents and a map D:\My Documents.
In D:\Documents I have only one map : Moneyflow .
In the settings of Moneyflow the location of the map has changed from C to D so that is OK but I cannot change it to D:\My Documents because in the settings the option to change is greyed out:
So I will still have some programs opening location D:\Documents instead of My Documents.
I had the issue with my Outlook 2007 where all attachments where sent to the Documents map in C. I solved this by a registry change.
What I wrote in previous post:
I still find it very strange that - although my setting is still C for documents, Pictures etc - all Pictures and most documents go to the correct maps D:\My Documents and P:\Pictures.
And: If in the settings I want to change storage from C- I can only change to D (documents) or P(pictures and Music) and not to a specific file on D or P.
So : if I do change the storage settings: will this create new maps - if so what will be the name? If the name is D:\Documents - will the existing map be emptied????
