The Windows 10 option is for both Home and Pro. Your digital entitlement or product key is what determines which one gets installed from ISO or USB during Windows Setup.

Please go ahead and post a screenshot showing your command prompt in that tutorial.

Be sure that you're using the correct drive letter, and you may have to try the other command with .esd or .wim.

If you skip entering the key during Windows Setup, then you'll have an option like in step 8 below to select Home or Pro to install.

I have not dealt with devices having UEFI, so far I have used the devices which use Legacy BIOS.
But buying a new hpac024tx Laptop gives me to select either Legacy BIOS and UEFI, as I see.
I have Legacy BIOS enabled as of now, and want to switch to UEFI.Currently it has Windows 10 running, which is a retail version.The Laptop shipped with DOS though
After disabling legacy support from BIOS, it switches to EFI as far as I know.
But after the restart when EFI enables, it shows OS not found.
Disabling the UEFI and enabling Legacy BIOS boots perfectly to the Windows desktop.
So, I wanted to know, how can I enable UEFI without having to reinstall OS again.

Hello Sumitdhiman, :)

After looking at the steps there, you might consider just doing a clean install of Windows 10 with UEFI instead since those steps will wipe your drive anyways.

Thanks Shawn , seems it would be better.I should better not screw up my new machine.Doing a clean Install should be perfect.
