    Hey brink,

I was able to get the usb done using Rufus but after clicking on "press any key to boot from usb" I get the blue windows logo and it just freezes. Nothing else happens.

    Any ideas?

USB install seems to be only option for install as friends pc doesn't have working cd rom.

    Hello bullfights, :)

See if the tutorial below may help to boot from the USB.

Already tried that F11 then USB stick. This PC is using XP. I don't see another option.

    Does the PC support UEFI?

If not, then you'll need to be sure the USB was created for legacy BIOS instead of UEFI.

I can't create a bootable usb using rufus. This error always shows up:

Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10-capture.jpg

I followed OPTION TWO step 7 but i'm having a problem. It states that the file system should be NTFS but my usb is FAT32. Is it okay if I choose FAT32 on file system? or is it okay if i make a bootable usb with UEFI even i'm using LEGACY BIOS?

    Hello butchzxc, :)

You might see if doing a manual quick format of the USB with NTFS may allow it to work afterwards.

I've already done that but still failed. I've also found on google some ways like using cmd to format from fat32 to NTFS but still the same.

    I'll try OPTION THREE.

    Are you using "Legacy BIOS"?
Meaning BIOS with an EFI(not UEFI) option, where "Secure Boot" & "Fast Boot" options are missing in the BIOS.
