@dortmunder, if you use Rufus, under Partition scheme, select GPT as per the tutorial.

You can use DiskPart to create multiple partitions on a USB stick. What formats and sizes do you want? If the stick is intended for Rufus, you don't have to partition it manually.

Hi Matthew. I'm sure the tutorial says MBR...
I'd like to try the suggestion in post #602 - "create usb drive with 2GB Fat32 partition followed by 6+GB exFat partition."

In this tutorial, under option two, in step 7, it says "Under Partition scheme, select GPT."

Media Creation Tool (MCT) has now been updated.

The ISO file or USB created by MCT will now install Windows 10 version 21H1 build 19043.928.

How to get the Windows 10 May 2021 Update version 21H1

Sorry to bother you but I wanted to make sure of something. The last time I created a USB drive with Windows 10 on it from your tutorial was in July 2020 The version I made that day was Windows 10 Ver. 2004 build 19041.388 as if July 24, 2020

As I type this the MCT is creating the file for the USB drive. will I be making the latest version the "May 2021" version?

    Thanks
