    Hello @SM03,

This is normal when using Rufus to create a UEFI only USB.

You can create a USB using step 6 option 2 for both UEFI and Legacy BIOS to avoid this.

Format with FAT32, if you donīt need NTFS.

    Hey @Brink & @Anibor

So, basically, there is no way to have a single partition while making a bootable PD in GPT-UEFI via rufus? Right?

Is there any alternate software like rufus that does the job i.e. making GPT-UEFU based bootable PD with a single partition?

& yes, my custom-made ISO size is currently around 5.14 GB so for that neither I can go with FAT32 partition schematic, nor I can choose the MBR method in Rufus as shown in SS below

As my HDD & SSD, both are formatted in GPT so if I do so, i.e. made the PD bootable at MBR-UEFI-CMS (LEGACY) mode, then the Windows won't install in those partition with re-formatting them again in MBR & I really don't wanna do that.

No way to avoid more than one partition if using step 7 in option 2.

The workaround to not seeing another drive letter (partition) is to use step 6 in option 2. It's good to use for both UEFI and Legacy BIOS. More universal.

Option 2 STEP 6 is "To Create Bootable USB Flash Drive for Installing Windows 10 with Legacy BIOS or UEFI"

& I already mentioned in my earlier post that why I can't use that option, quoting again

"As my HDD & SSD, both are formatted in GPT so if I do so, i.e. made the PD bootable at MBR-UEFI-CMS (LEGACY) mode, then the Windows won't install in those partition with re-formatting them again in MBR & I really don't wanna do that."

Also, what about this What I asked earlier?

"Is there any alternate software like rufus that does the job i.e. making GPT-UEFU based bootable PD with a single partition?"

I'm not aware of a way for this.
