Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10

Latest UEFI systems will also boot from NTFS. Not all will so it's sort of "Try it and see".

Another way to get round the problem is to create a Virtual Machine with the ISO image and then simply do a V2P (Virtual to Physical) conversion. After ist boot from the physical machine Windows will via update get any drivers etc it needs.

Keep disconnected from the internet while creating the initial VM - then once you've created the physical machine you can then get normal activation.

An easy way of doing a V2P conversion is to dump the VM Windows image via Macrium Free to a USB device, restore via the stand alone bootable utility, do the "Fix Windows boot problems" from the utility and then boot the machine.

Should work fine -- does on VMWare workstation and QEMU/KVM Virtual machines -- haven't tried it on VBOX though.

You can using partition managers etc re-adjust the Windows "C" drive if required.

Hi, I am having a issue that when I make a bootable USB it says press any key to boot from USB then I see a flash of windows logo then it flashes - again and again I made my device with mbr, ntfs? Any fix plz tell as fast as possible thank you🙏

Is your computer UEFI? If so, it likely will not boot from an NTFS partition. The standard Windows 10 USB flash drive created with the Media Creation Tool is MBR with a FAT32 partition marked as active, which will boot in any computer (UEFI or legacy BIOS) that can boot from a USB flash drive.

No not at all its bios only i checked it twice
I tried checking Iso too it's OK. Recently when I updated windows to 2004 it got corrupted then I thought of making a bootable USB and install new one but it's not working

Yes it says boot from USB but any key doesn't work then there is a underscore flashing in the upper left
