    But maybe my desktop is formatted with GPT.
    So basically I need to have 2 separate USB W10 installations,right?One for GPT other for MBR?
    You would still want to select MBR like in the steps since it's for what to format the USB flash drive with.

    It will still work if Target system was set to BIOS or UEFI.

    It depends on what mode you boot the USB flash drive in.

    In summary, a flash drive partitioned with MBR and a FAT32 partition marked as active will boot in either legacy BIOS or UEFI mode. If it is booted in legacy BIOS mode, Windows setup will make the target drive MBR. If the flash drive is booted in UEFI mode, Windows setup will make the target disk GPT.

    So let's resume,I choose UEFI or BIOS and MBR as partition table and installation will work on all machines no matter if the disk is formatted in GPT or UEFI?Right?

    It sounds like you're confusing how the USB is created with what to do on the computer. These are two separate things to do.

    For what you want, you would use step 6 in option 2 with Rufus to create a Windows 10 installation USB that can be used to install Windows 10 with either UEFI or Legacy BIOS.

    When you are ready to clean install Windows 10 with this USB, you need to do step 3 in the tutorial below on the computer you want to install Windows 10 on to set if you want UEFI or Legacy BIOS on the computer.

    After creating a USB device as Brink said above, when you start your desktop, on the boot menu, select the USB device with the "UEFI" prefix. Click here to see my example. As for your old laptop, UEFI will not be available, so you can only install Windows in Legacy BIOS mode.

    Use MiniTool Partition Wizard to check whether it is GPT or MBR. If it is MBR, you may convert it into GPT. See: Convert MBR Disk to GPT Disk in Windows 10

    Just checked,on my desktop is GPT but on laptops is MBR.
    I made installation as you said choose MBR and BIOS (UEFI with CMS support).
    Is that okay?
    And I understood,if I want to install it on desktop I boot from "USB device with UEFI support) if it's Kingston that means UEFI:Kingston 2.0 something like that right?

    Normally, it would say BIOS or UEFI instead of BIOS (UEFI with CMS support) for Target System.

    Just to verify, did you do all the steps in step 6 of option 2?
