You have to be careful with rufus as it is easy to get settings wrong eg if you are doing legacy bios install, and select uefi mode. I rarely use it as just as quick to mount iso as a drive and copy all files to a fat32 formatted drive. Rufus was very handy in Win7 days when you could not natively mount isos as as drive, but now it is not really needed any more.
