I'm glad it could help nissimezra, but just be sure not to use the same activation on all the computers to avoid them being deactivated. One separate product key per computer. :)

I just finished rebuilding the wife's Windows 7 system.
Reused case, power supply and 4GB ram.
    New Motherboard, CPU and SSD.
    I downloaded the latest W10 1511-1 file.
    Use rufus to make USB,
Installed and when prompted for key I entered a never used before Windows 8.1 Pro key given to me by Robin.(thanks)
I now have an activated W10 Pro with digital entitlement.

Yes I sure won't use the same one.

You are not going to believe what happened to me this weekend so here is my story.
I previously downloaded all the ISO's 8 of them total, English French, french Canadian, Hebrew. Thats total of 8. when downloaded the file about a month ago I noticed the file size is not the same it was smaller, one of 32 bit was 2 gig I've tried to mount it, some mounted some not. so didn't want to take a chance I download again, the same story the file size is about 300 mb smaller. So I went to different computer with new win 7 install some were good but some were much smaller so download again using a laptop this time one by one, thought maybe the temp folder getting full when downloading this much. it worked the file were same size and mounted, I copied the good files to a usb drive and transfer them to the computers that needed for the upgrade and again all the images got corrupted. The usb i bought from ebay china I thought maybe the usb are not good but I used it to make Ubuntu and other Linux to boot from it and it worked I even install Ubuntu. I ended up spending all weekend downloading the images.
All hard drives were tested with no bad sectors
Anyone came across this kind of a wired problem.

    Regards

If the ISO downloads are getting interrupted, it could cause this.

    Hi Shawn,
I was connected hardwire, How can that be?
I have win 10 french that is 2 gig and whats funy when I mount it on virtual drive it worked.
I'm downloading one by one now and it seems to be ok. What I think is when downloading 2 at the time it cause the temp folder to be full that might causing the problem
One thing I didnt solve is the usb.

Since you created the USB to work with Ubuntu, you many need to run a "clean" command on it first, then prepare it as a Windows 10 installation USB with UEFI support.

Thanks Shawn, I read all your tout on seven forums:)
So I tried to upgrade the french hp that I have and it gave an error that it can't create the recovery partition and than another error; this pc is not compatible with windows 10. I'm not that good in french but I live in Montreal....
My question is; I validated windows with IE, I exported the file from the desktop, will it work if I do clean install in English? The operating system is french.

As for the USB drive I install Linux after it fail to copy the files. When I copied the files it was new however after installing Linux i format it again and I copied one by one and it worked with no problem. So the only explanation that I have is the temp folder getting full, it happened in the download and the copy.
Thanks for taking your time to help me.

You should be able to install an English version with the product key as along as it's for the same edition of Windows.

The only problem is that if it says your computer is not compatible with Windows 10, then it may not install.

Updates. Clean install worked from french to English with no problem. The problem I think was that hhe system was sysprep thats why it didn't allow me to install. I tried to upgrade Dell vostro Laptop as well with clean install of windows 7 but the installation stacked. Lucky me I had the file ready so I just did a clean install. in this case I forgot to disconnect the network but after transferring the file with network and reboot it still worked.

    Thanks
