Windows 10: Clean Install Windows 10 Directly without having to Upgrade First
You're quite welcome.
Does this method still work? I've just bought a second hand Thinkpad with 7 Pro installed on it (with COA on the back) and (separately) a SSD from ebay.
I thought I'd save the GenuineTicket, swap the drives and clean install.
Obviously I will try it and see if it works but was wondering if anyone had done it lately or if there is a better solution.
I could transfer a license if I have to but would rather use the existing one if it is still OK to use it.
Haven't tried it myself since the free offer expired.

the genuine ticket way was OK.
with 10.1607.14393.0 EN 32bit [3GB ram , video integrated on mainboard]
no matter if you grab the genuine ticket file on 32 or 64 bit
and use it in the other flavor of windows .
I mean you can grab it in 32 and you can use it in 32 or 64 , no matter
just use the proper gatherostate.exe on the host [32bit from win 10_32bit media in 32bit win 7/8.x environment, or 64 in 64]
when you install a clean 10 , is better to have internet off
till and including when you restart the computer [ 11. Restart the computer to apply. , in OP]
after restart you can awake the internet.
