    How to Add or Remove Devices and Printers from This PC in Windows 10

    Devices and Printers (aka: Device Stage), gives you a quick view and access of all of your connected and wireless devices on your computer in one place. By viewing the contents of this folder, you can check to see which devices you have connected, view details about the devices, and learn what tasks you can perform with them by right clicking on the device and selecting the task you would like to do.

    This tutorial will show you how to add or remove Devices and Printers under 'Devices and drives' in This PC for all users in Windows 10.

    Hello Ken, and welcome to Ten Forums.

    Do you remember how you added them?

    For now, export the two registry keys below to a .reg file, and upload them here. I'll be happy to take a look to see if I may spot them there.

    thanks for getting back to me

    I copied them from the God Command folder, then just copy pasted into this location.

    I exported this file, as the other does not exist. Hope this is right.

    @kenmystro,

    Here's a .reg file below that you can download and merge to remove the registry keys below. These are not there by default.

    Remove.reg

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\DelegateFolders\{289AF617-1CC3-42A6-926C-E6A863F0E3BA}]

    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\DelegateFolders\{35786D3C-B075-49b9-88DD-029876E11C01}]

    Does Devices and Printers automatically add to devices and drivers area or does the reg file need the lines added first?

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{A8A91A66-3A7D-4424-8D24-04E180695C7A}]
    "DescriptionID"=dword:00000006

    Thanks for this. Very handy. Is there a way to selectively remove one or two items, instead of all of them. I see situations in which there's a leftover printer, and would like to delete all traces of it (aside from the typical ways, which AREN'T working).

    Thanks
