    @Berton & @Brink :
    Sirs,
    Thanks for the Quick & Prompt responses but ....

    The Windows 8 key is still tied to the computer it came on, can't be used on a different machine.
    (i) If I run ProduKey on the current installation & use the key on a different pc, It would be activated, won't it ? It's a Retail key anyway, isn't it ?

    (ii) If i plan a multiboot on the same pc with Win8 SL + Win8 SL, both will be activated, Isn't it ? This way I can manage Win8 SL + Win10 SL on the same pc, can't I ?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks & Regards. ...

    If it this an OEM computer, then it wouldn't be a retail license and can only be used to activate on the same computer and no other.

    Either way, the license (product key) cannot be used to activate more than one installation at the same time. One key per install.

    Right. Used to be the EULA/End User License Agreement specified the Retail version could be moved to a Replacement computer but could not be on both at the same time. I haven't kept up with the EULA since Win8 and the embedded license.

    Yes, you can always remove W10 and reinstall your W8 and activate with the W8 key again.

    Greets,
    I found out that after making in-place upgrade from Win 8 SL to Win 10 SL on an OEM (hp) laptop. My BIOS OEM Key was not used to activate Win 10. So, I can now have a dual boot of both on the same laptop for free ( 1 + 1 = 2 licenses )

    ProduKey

    Thanks. ...
